Knowledge sharing madness!

At Xomnia, we are always happy when we get an opportunity to provide some insight into what we are up to. This week, there were more than plenty of such opportunities. Herewith we would like to thank everybody who contributed to this!

A brief overview

Today marks the last day of a two-day Big Data training in Soesterberg, which was organized by Heliview. Our data scientists, SURFsara's big data engineers and some senior experts gave lectures on Big Data platforms, data science, privacy and data driven innovations.

Last Tuesday, we hosted a knowledge sharing session on applied data analytics together with Human Inference and guest speakers of Randstad and the Dutch Postcode Lottery (Nationale Postcode Loterij) at B.Amsterdam. Which by the way happens to be a pretty cool location, go see it! Additionally, we held a workshop at EyeOn to help them solving specific data-related challenges.

We also hosted two guest lectures this week: at TIAS, we spoke at the Make Big Data Work! workshop about modern big data innovations. We also gave a technical lecture to Artificial Intelligence students at the Radboud University today, on an Eye Disease Detection project, that we are currently working on.

With this weeks second Data Mining training session scheduled tomorrow at the Ministry of Defense (in cooperation with IIR ), this is by far the busiest week of knowledge sharing in our history as a company.
