Make Responsible AI work for you

Empower your organization to adopt AI Responsibly

AI is only as powerful as the decisions behind it, and those decisions start with you.

Responsible AI isn't a checkbox. It's the foundation on which lasting AI value is built. At Xomnia, we embed Responsible AI at the core of your organization, shaping not just what you build, but how you build it. We help you establish the culture, governance, and practices that ensure your AI systems stand on trust, transparency, and accountability.

What Responsible AI means to us

Responsible AI is a hygiene factor. It's how we operate by default, whether that means applying the right governance tooling, running workshops to build organizational awareness, or guiding teams through the implications of the systems they deploy.

We take the bigger picture into account at every stage: design, build, and deployment. Because widespread value creation is only possible when your core values and compliance requirements are considered every step of the way.

Why it matters more than ever

As AI becomes central to how businesses operate, having a clear Responsible AI framework sets you apart. It positions your organization to adapt, innovate, and lead, while ensuring your AI systems operate in line with your principles.
Research from McKinsey's State of AI 2026 confirms it: investment in Responsible AI is directly linked to greater realized AI value. Yet active risk mitigation still lags behind risk awareness. The risks are understood. The action is missing.
This is especially true in the age of agentic AI, where building trust with your teams, customers, and regulators requires more than good intentions. It requires structure.

Adress knowledge gabs

Identify and close training gaps across your teams before they turn into real risks. A shared understanding of Responsible AI is the first step to getting it right.

Make accountability explicit

Clearly define who owns what. Structured accountability ensures that Responsible AI is lived every day, not just written in a policy document.

Stay ahead of regulation

Prepare your organization for current and emerging requirements, including the EU AI Act, with a framework built for the long term.

Our way of working

Our approach is holistic, but always adapted to your specific context and use case. We make sure every AI solution we build is trusted, fair, and built to last.

Purpose-driven AI

AI is a tool, not the end goal. We only use AI when it adds proven value, measured through clear KPIs that show real impact. Every solution we build must be trusted by your organization, which means it is transparent, explainable, and fair. This includes treating every group of users equitably and avoiding discriminatory outcomes. Clear accountability is built in from the start, with a defined owner for every component.
Before any solution goes live, we run a structured evaluation: starting with an MVP for an isolated use case, testing with a controlled group, and reviewing results together before deciding on next steps.

Security

We use only the data points that are relevant to the problem at hand. Every solution we build follows EU and Dutch legislation, and our security standards are reviewed on an ongoing basis to stay ahead of new requirements. As an ISO certified organization, we apply this framework across all our AI solutions in production environments.

AI Risk management

For every AI solution, we conduct a full impact analysis covering five key areas:

  • System Description: Defining the AI's purpose, scope, and intended use
  • Risk Evaluation: Identifying potential for discrimination, unfairness, or misuse
  • Ethical and Legal Analysis: Checking compliance with regulations like GDPR and ethical guidelines
  • Stakeholder Consultation: Mapping affected parties and documenting potential impacts
  • Mitigation Strategies: Setting up governance structures to manage risk across the full lifecycle

This process builds client trust and shows that we meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

  • We developed standard approaches to ensure a responsible impact from every solution that we deliver to our clients. This ranges from using tools to prevent black box algorithms, to using specific games at the start of a project to expose any risks regarding responsible AI.
  • We provide our clients with training tracks on Responsible AI, covering both technical and business perspectives. Click here to find out more.
  • We partner up with academic institutions, like the Research Group Artificial Intelligence at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, to contribute to research on the field of responsible AI. Our collaboration is mainly focussed on creating tools that have their foundation in academics, and that are practically usable for us and our clients to make AI applications more responsible.
  • We host a webinar series on Responsible AI and all its aspects, more information on that can be found below.

Lets talk

We believe that prevention is better than cure, and therefore find it important to have organizational processes in place to ensure the responsible use of AI. Organizations that aim to teach their teams the principle of responsible AI will benefit from the Responsible AI Training for Businesses that we have carefully crafted at the Xomnia Academy.

We are well aware that Responsible AI it is a multifaceted topic without a straightforward, out-of-the-box checklist. To help our trainees in making the right choices in this complex landscape, we equip them with laws and regulations, ethical codes of conduct and frameworks, and stakeholder input, such as values, needs, constraints, and others.

The 6-hour-long training is focused on empowering employees to take part in the conversation about responsible AI. The training is for anyone expected to collaborate with data experts, including those who do not have any technical background.
